Workshops to celebrate Halloween!
On the occasion ofHalloween and All Saints' Day vacationsLa Cueillette de Torfou (91) offers a great pumpkin-cutting workshop for children aged 4 to 12. After choosing their favorite pumpkin from the garden's production, children will create a beautiful and scary Jack O'Lantern to take home. The next step is to install a candle to make the magic happen! The whole team will be on hand to monitor the activity, give digging and cutting instructions and guide the children in decorating the pumpkin. And to accompany all this creativity, La Cueillette de Torfou offers all participants a treat and a glass of delicious apple juice!

It is educational picking located in the south of Essonne in a listed site, 4 km from Château de Chamarande
From April to November, families flock to pick fruit, vegetables and flowers, and have a great time doing so, with no quantity restrictions. Following the natural cycle, crops are grown using sustainable agriculture methods.
Renowned for the great variety of its harvests, the cueillette de Torfou offers a wide range of early vegetables: early vegetables, radishes, lettuces, but also field strawberries, spinach...and also the first poet's carnations...
As the seasons go by, you can pick tomatoes, potatoes, lilies, and in June strawberries in the hanging garden, raspberries, redcurrants, etc.
La Cueillette de Torfou, part of the "Chapeau de paille" network, organizes educational events and workshops for children throughout the year..

- Every day from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 6:30 pm
- Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (continuous)
- Closed Tuesday morning.

Picking? How does it work?
Participation is free. Just come along and we'll provide you with all the materials you need. And as for rediscovering the true taste of produce: it's important to respect the rhythm of the seasons, so ... no tomatoes in December!
