On the occasion ofHalloween and All Saints' Day vacationsLa Cueillette de la Grange (77) offers a great pumpkin carving workshop for children aged 3 and over. After choosing their favorite pumpkin from the garden's produce, the children will dig and carve a beautiful and delicate pumpkin. scary Jack O'Lantern to take home. The next step is to install a candle to make the magic happen! The whole team will be on hand to give cutting instructions and help you decorate the pumpkin. And to accompany all this creativity, Cueillette de La Grange offers all participants a glass of delicious apple juice!

  • When Saturday, October 19 to Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

La Cueillette de la Grange (77)

It is educational picking south-east of Paris, but also a stone's throw from the magnificent Castle of Vaux le Vicomte (10 Kms away)! 

From April to November, families flock to pick fruit, vegetables and flowers, and have a great time doing so, with no quantity restrictions. Following the natural cycle, crops are grown using sustainable agriculture methods.

 From the end of winter until November 30, families flock to the fields to pick strawberries, tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, cabbage, zucchinis, beans, peas, apples, raspberries, plums, cherries, etc...... Over fifty varieties are available.

Cueillette de La Grange is part of the "chapeau de Paille" networkfor "eco-responsible" agriculture: promoting natural diversity, education and water resource management

  • an unsupervised parking lot is located close to the entrance

Picking? How does it work?

Participation is free. Just come along and we'll provide you with all the materials you need. And as for rediscovering the true taste of produce: it's important to respect the rhythm of the seasons, so ... no tomatoes in December, and a winter closure on November 30.
