Pumpkin workshop + farm visit

On the occasion ofHalloween and All Saints' Day vacationsThe Ferme de Viltain farm in Jouy-en-Josas (78) offers pumpkin carving workshops for children aged 4 to 14. Once they've chosen a pumpkin, children can carve their own according to any theme they like: scary or not, they'll have a great time with an attentive and patient animator. The children will leave with their work of art. To your social networks! For fun, you're welcome to dress up, and for a nice souvenir photo invited to pose in the Halloween décor. Before or after the workshop, you can visit and stroll around the farmand, depending on the time of day, watch the cows being milked (between 3.45pm and 5pm).

The Viltain educational farm is a 350-cow dairy farm renowned for the products it produces. Sustainable agriculture and animal welfare make good yoghurt!

This farm has developed also a "pick-your-own" activity, attracting many families. Families flock to take part, and depending on the season of production, several other activities are offered (apple juice pressing, hikes, planting, etc.).

The farm can be visited every day of the year from 9am to 7pm. You can take a self-guided tour of milking parlour and calf barns

Guided tours take place every Wednesday at 3 p.m. to discover the life of cows, their diet, reproduction, and taste a good yogurt made with milk from the morning milking.
